Real Shopee Prices, Ratings, and Stock — Not Guesses
A product card is only useful if what's on it is true. When Zomony identifies something in your photo and finds a real match on Shopee, the card you see now shows the actual listing's price, discount, rating, units sold, seller, and stock status -- pulled straight from the same data Shopee itself publishes, not a mocked-up placeholder standing in for "a product like this exists somewhere."
What's actually on the card
- Price -- the real payable price for that specific listing today.
- List price and discount -- when the seller has one active, shown as a strikethrough next to the real price. This is Shopee's own advertised discount on its own listing, not something Zomony calculates -- we show it, muted and attributed, rather than turning it into a headline "you save X" claim. A seller can inflate a list price to manufacture a bigger-looking percentage, so we're not going to repeat that number back to you as if we verified it.
- Rating and units sold, together, never separately. A 5.0 rating from one review isn't the same evidence as a 4.6 from eight thousand -- so a bare star rating with nothing else is close to meaningless, and Zomony never shows one alone. Units sold is a real volume signal, but it is not a review count, and we're careful never to format it that way (no "4.9 (835)" -- that shape reads as 835 reviews, which it isn't).
- Seller name, when the feed has one. If it doesn't, we leave the line out rather than showing something blank.
- Stock, checked before a product is ever shown to you. An out-of-stock listing is filtered out at the matching step itself, so you don't get shown something you can't actually buy -- the next real, in-stock match takes its place instead, or an honest fallback if none exists.
Where this data comes from
Zomony ingests Shopee's own Product Feed -- prices, ratings, stock, seller details, the works -- refreshed once a day. That's the honest tradeoff worth naming: what you see can be up to roughly 24 hours old, the same as any daily-refreshed catalog. It is real data, just not a live-second-by-second feed. If a price changed or something sold out in the last few hours, the listing itself (which the link takes you straight to) is always the final word -- Zomony's card is what to expect when you get there, not a guaranteed live snapshot.
What this replaces
Earlier, every detected object that didn't have an exact real match got the same generic "Search on Shopee" link -- a real search, but no specific product shown. That's still what happens when nothing in the catalog is close enough to trust. The difference now is that when there is a real match, you see it as an actual product -- not a search prompt, an actual listing with an actual price, before you even click through.
What's still honestly not there yet
This is Shopee-specific for now. Lazada matches are still an honest "Search on Lazada" link rather than a real product card -- there's no Lazada catalog ingestion yet, so there's nothing real to show. We'd rather tell you that plainly than quietly imply Lazada works the same way it doesn't yet.
